Day 13. Signs If you believe in signs from your child/ren, share with us an experience you have had.I do believe in signs. I believe that there are things that will always remind me of my boys. I believe that those things are their reminder to me that they are just as much here as they are in my head...
After Andrew passed away, I saw a rainbow...and to top it off, I had two friends post pictures of double rainbows. In both pictures, one rainbow was fainter than the other. It made me think of Andrew being the slightly faded one. The twin no longer here. The calmer, more laid back little boy. The brighter, more apparent was my still living, breathing, feisty little Sammy. Those pictures made me both sad for Andrew and happy that we still had Sammy.
Since Sammy passed, we went for a hike in the woods on the beautiful land that Cam's parents are looking at. It was the weekend after...Mom and I were sitting and waiting for Dad and Cam to hike around some more. Sitting in the woods, just after they had walked over the hill, Mom and I saw two deer run through the woods a few yards behind us. Two deer. They both stopped and looked at us. I had been talking about my boys. It made me think of them. Two happy little boys running through the woods...I wish I had had my camera that day. However, I plan to go back up to the land with my telephoto lens and hope to catch a picture of those two beautiful deer...
