Planning for March for Babies

I haven't talked a lot about Kristy and I will leave her story for her to tell, but the long and short of it is that her twin girls were born 16 weeks too early as well, just about a month after my boys.  We were introduced through a mutual friend and we became fast friends.  When we started talking about what we could do to honor our four beautiful babies, March of Dimes was really a given.

We just found out that the March of Dimes March for Babies will be on Mother's Day weekend.  This leaves us both with mixed feelings.  Most people at the March for Babies are doing it for babies that have lived and ours didn't.  That means that on a difficult weekend, we will be around a lot of kids.  However, the idea that we can raise some money for research to prevent premature delivery as well as help babies born too soon, maybe even just one more person will not need to experience what we did.  Living without a child you thought you'd bring home, having empty arms...it's not fair.  No one should have to experience this feeling.

So I've set my goal.  $1000 personally.  I am going to use my Scentsy and crafting businesses to raise money, but, in the meantime, I am asking people to make any donation, big or small.  Any little bit helps!!

Kristy and I created a team and (with help from friends) named it Four-Ever Remembered.  In memory of my boys, Samuel & Andrew, and her girls, Aryelle & Kendall.  We are both so excited to share this experience with family, friends, and coworkers!  Our team page is here:

For anyone local, you can create your own fundraising page and join our team if you're interested in walking with us!  For anyone else, you can make a donation, either on my personal page or on the team page.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for anything you are willing to give, big or small.
