Not a day goes by that Mommy & Daddy think of you and miss you. We live every moment remembering you and the precious gift that you were to us. How much you mean and how hard we worked to bring you here.
Though missing you hurts, we know that you aren't hurting anymore. That you are at peace and are there for us. Always a part of us. Our hearts are broken into pieces and there will always be two little pieces missing from each of us as we reassemble them because you are not here.
We tried to honor you today by thinking of you often. Talking about our memories of you. And we lit a lantern for each of you as a way to wish you a happy birthday.
Daddy lit a lantern for you, Sammy...
Our dearest little Sammy,
Mommy & Daddy are so happy that you gave us 22 beautiful days to see your gorgeous eyes and wonderful smile. For those 22 days, you lit up our life and taught us what being a parent truly is. Every day with you was a blessing and saying goodbye will always be one of the hardest things we ever did. We love you, our little monkey.

Our sweet little Andrew,
We wish we could have seen your eyes, your smile, learned more of your personality, but those 3 days with you were absolutely one of the biggest blessings. You lit up our world with a calm and serene little personality that just made each day worth living. You will always be our calm little lamb.
"I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be..."
Baby boys, you are are our whole entire world. You are everything to us and always will be. Someday soon we hope that you will have a little brother or sister...or even one of each, but until that day, you are our onlys. We even lit a lantern for the sibling you may eventually have. Believe it or not, that was the one that flew the highest and we could see every second until the flame went out. Here's hoping that that was your sign to us that your brother or sister will be around for a long, long time.
Each and every day without you is miserable, but we know that eventually we will meet you again and that you will continue to work through us to see change and love in the world.
In the meantime, fly high, play with all the other angel babies, and keep us safe.
